Protective grounding: Under normal working conditions of all electrical equipment, good grounding of non-charged metal parts is used as protective grounding, and protective grounding mainly protects the work safety of personnel.

Repeated grounding: Repeated grounding is made by connecting multiple points on the neutral line to the ground multiple times. When the neutral point is directly grounded in the system, the voltage to ground can be reduced; when the neutral line is broken, the damage of the fault can be reduced.

Static grounding: When equipment moves or objects move in pipelines, static electricity is generated due to friction, which accumulates on pipelines, containers and storage tanks or processing equipment, forming a high potential that is dangerous to personal safety and equipment and buildings. Static grounding is made, and once static electricity is generated, it is introduced into the ground to eliminate the possibility of its accumulation. A piece of conductive rubber that touches the ground at the rear of the tanker and the rear of the car belongs to electrostatic grounding.

DC working grounding: Most computers and all microelectronic equipment use medium and large-scale integrated circuits, which have the same "potential" reference point, and connect the "zero" potential point of all equipment to the same grounding device, so that it can stabilize the circuit.
